What I love about being a Nurse Practitioner/ Philosophy of care:
I love providing efficient and quality care access to patients and families with an emphasis on person centered care. I see virtual health visits as a means for improving efficiency, access and close follow up with my patients. Virtual visits offer individuals an avenue to seek health care when they may otherwise be unable or reluctant to do so.
When I provide virtual care, I am able to give prompt medical attention to individuals needing it, and I am able to triage their needs to determine if they need to be seen by urgent care or the emergency department. Through telemedicine I get to have a farther reach into communities I would never otherwise be able to serve.
Hobbies: Certified Closed-Circuit Rebreather (CCR) diver, scuba diver, shipwreck diver, divemaster, walleye fishing, riding BMW motorcycle across the USA, international travel. Disney fanatic- I love everything Disney.
